Radar Signal Processing

Multitaper Approach for Clutter Suppression in Airborne Radar Systems

My master's thesis focused on developing improved signal processing techniques for airborne radar systems. I investigated how multitaper spectral estimation combined with minimum variance estimation could provide more effective clutter suppression compared to traditional methods, addressing the challenge of separating weak target signals from strong ground clutter.

Through simulation modeling and factorial analysis, the research showed improvements in improvement factor and minimum detectable velocity compared to traditional tapered Fourier transform methods.

A robot sailor fine-tuned to play sea shanties on a 3D printed mini marimba instrument. Features an ESP-32-controlled system with 4 MG90 servo motors, 3D printed components using Prusa i3, and plays classic sea songs like "Drunken Sailor" and "Wellerman" with ocean-themed mallets.
